Vibraject

What is a Vibraject?

The Vibraject is a device that attaches to conventional syringes to reduce injection pain. It is battery operated, with no foot pedals or electrical connections.

What does a Vibraject do?

The Vibraject system is a conventional syringe attachment that makes oral anesthetic injections more comfortable and tolerable for patients.

How does a Vibraject work?

The nerve endings that send signals to the brain about temperature and pain are small and have relatively low signal intensity. The nerves that respond to vibrations are bigger and have higher signal intensity and dominate the small nerves receiving pain, thus the patient feels the vibrations before feeling pain.
